A total of 220 vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz in March, with liquid tankers accounting for the largest share of traffic, according to data from MarineTraffic and Kpler.
Liquid tankers made 111 crossings, representing 51% of the total, followed by 82 dry bulk vessels (37%) and 27 LPG carriers (12%). No LNG shipments were recorded during the month.
The navigation data shows that traffic was heavily skewed towards west-to-east movements out of the Gulf, which accounted for 149 crossings, or 68% of the total.
