Seven people died and seventeen were injured in a blast in China's southwestern Guangxi region, authorities ruled out gas pipelines and said an investigation is ongoing.

Seven people have been killed and 17 others injured in an explosion in China’s southwestern Guangxi region, local authorities said, as investigators worked to determine the cause of the blast.
According to a report by Reuters, all 17 injured victims were taken to hospital and none of their injuries were life-threatening.
Authorities said they had ruled out problems with gas pipelines as a cause of the explosion, adding that a full investigation into the incident was under way.
