Donald Trump warns Iran that US bombings will resume at higher intensity if it rejects current terms, says Epic Fury could end and Hormuz Strait remain open under the Blockade.

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday warned Iran that bombings will resume if it does not agree to the terms being negotiated.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said: “ssuming Iran agrees to give what has been agreed to, which is, perhaps, a big assumption, the already legendary Epic Fury will be at an end, and the highly effective Blockade will allow the Hormuz Strait to be OPEN TO ALL, including Iran. If they don’t agree, the bombing starts, and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
This came a day after Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed at a White House press conference that Operation Epic Fury had concluded. “The Operation Epic Fury is concluded. We achieved the objectives of that operation. I’m not going to, you know – we’re not cheering for an additional situation to occur. We would prefer the path of peace. What the president would prefer is a deal," Rubio said.
Reuters quoted him saying that the new operation aimed at opening the Strait of Hormuz, known as Project Freedom, is smaller in scale and distinct from the original combat plan. He described it as a defensive operation, saying the United States will not engage militarily “unless we’re shot at".
Less than 24 hours after launching ‘Project Freedom’, a US-led military-backed operation to escort stranded commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, Trump abruptly paused the mission, saying the move is aimed at creating space for negotiations with Iran.
