WWDC 2025: What to expect?
The most significant development that is likely to be announce at this year's WWDC will be the changing of naming schemes of software versions to collide with the year. This means that new version for software on iPhones will not be called iOS 19 but iOS 26 and simlarly for other Apple products it will be iPadOS 26, macOS 26 and so on.
As per Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the standout announcement at this year's WWDC could be a new user interface of all of Apple's operating systems that is based on visionOS. The main element of this new interface will reportedly be digital glass and there is also expected to be more use of light and transparency througout the UI. Tool and tab bars will have new look and the app icons and other buttons are also expected to be resdesigned while users could also get the option to get a quick list of options when clicking on a button.
Apple is also expected to provide a major overhaul to the Phone app, Safari and Camera app on iOS and iPadOS this year. Meanwhile, Gurman also states that Apple will employ its AI in order to improve the battery performance on iPhones.
