“No Spin News” host Bill O’Reilly on Wednesday warned Republicans about the upcoming midterm elections, citing numerous new polls confirming growing dissatisfaction among Americans over the cost of food, health care and related insurance.

His segment, titled “Bill O’Reilly’s Warning to Republicans,” began with a Marist University survey showing 57% of 1,443 U.S. adults polled between Nov. 10-13 believe lowering prices should be the top priority for President Donald Trump’s administration.

“So there’s no doubt about it,” said O’Reilly on Wednesday about the poll. “And President Trump and his administration, if they want to hold the House and Senate next November, they got to get the prices down of insurance, health care, car, house and food.”

He continued, “Not that far away on the food. The opposition, of course, is hysterical.”

O’Reilly was right to note that Democrats are concerned about the cost of food for struggling Americans, though it currently appears Republicans are most frazzled, as even Fox News host Laura Ingraham warned Tuesday that “the midterms right now look ugly.”

The “No Spin News” segment also referenced a recent West Health-Gallup survey that showed 90% of the more than 50,000 polled U.S. adults 90% said they are paying “too much” for health care, which led O’Reilly to exclaim, “boy, oh, boy.”

He then warned, “Republicans have got to get on it.”

Trump has repeatedly dismissed affordability as a non-issue supposedly propped up by Democrats, claiming earlier this month that “the biggest problem” is that “Republicans don’t talk about” his purported victories in lowering costs and that “Democrats lie about it.”

O'Reilly said he will be "ruthless" in his coverage about how Republicans handle these issues.

O’Reilly cited several other factors in the West Health-Gallup poll, including that more than a third of people worry they’ll be unable to pay for needed prescription drugs in the next year and that 52% experience some or a lot of stress as a result of health care concerns.

“Gotta get that health insurance premiums, Medicaid and Medicare spending under control, and that includes Obamacare,” said O’Reilly, urging GOP leaders such as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) to act.

“I’m going to be ruthless in how I cover the next 12 months because the Republicans have power now, but I’m not seeing a health care proposal on the table, are you?” he said. “So, Johnson and Thune, the two big boys in Congress, you better get something going.”
