A group of Border Patrol agents in Chicago found themselves ridiculed on social media Monday thanks to a video that showed them failing to catch a bicyclist who taunted them.

One video taken Sunday afternoon by Christopher Sweat shows an unidentified cyclist taunting agents by saying he’s not a U.S. citizen and daring them to come after him.

At one point, an agent tells the cyclist that he dropped his phone, but the cyclist picks it up before riding away.

Here is the original clip:

Many people were amused by the video, and added their own touches to amp up the humor, by adding clips from “E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial,” and music from “The Benny Hill Show.”

Some people weren’t impressed by the fitness of the agents chasing after the cyclist.

Are ICE agents disproportionately overweight middle-aged men who run slowly?

Or much else, to be honest ...

The First Amendment allows us to call these stooges "assholes." Under responsible governance, there would have been orders not to respond to verbal taunts. We don't HAVE responsible government. It seems that the guy making most of the decisions is Miller, and he is a psychopathic…

Not sure how anyone thinks the First Amendment is still in effect when government officials are trying to punish civilians for free speech, in this case with attempted assault and battery at minimum https://t.co/nbWWswKhOo
