Donald Trump flipped out this week over an image of him that Time magazine used for its front page.
There’s unlikely to be a similar meltdown from the president over the photo that CNN conservative pundit Scott Jennings is using on the cover of his upcoming book, however.
Why? Because Jennings let Trump choose it himself.
Jennings, a frequent Trump defender on CNN, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday that the president “made a great call” in selecting a photo of himself leaving the White House, near two saluting Marines, for “A Revolution Of Common Sense: How Donald Trump Stormed Washington And Fought For Western Civilization,” which will be published next month.

On the latest episode of Brandon Tatum’s podcast “The Officer Tatum,” Jennings said Trump “cooperated” with the book, which covers his first 120 days in office and, in Jennings’ words, shows how Trump “caught his opponents completely flat-footed.”

“You’ll have it in time for Christmas,” Jennings pitched. “Get one for every relative. If your relative loves Trump, get it. If they don’t, get it as a gag gift. Either way, it’s a good book to get. Put it under the Christmas tree.”
