A bombshell claim emerged from newly released documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case, suggesting the disgraced financier may have fathered a child approximately 15 years ago. The allegation comes from an email purportedly sent by Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York and former wife of Prince Andrew, to Epstein on September 21, 2011- years after his initial conviction for soliciting prostitution from a minor.

“Don’t know if you’re still on this bbm but have heard from The Duke that you have had a baby boy," Sarah Ferguson wrote in the message, which was included in a massive tranche of approximately three million documents, 180,000 images and 2,000 videos released as part of ongoing legal proceedings.

It added, “Even though you never kept in touch, I still am here with love, friendship, and congratulations on your baby boy. Sarah xx" The reference to “The Duke" is widely understood to mean Prince Andrew, Duke of York, Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband.

If accurate, the child referenced in the email would now be approximately 14 or 15 years old. However, the claim has not been independently verified and no concrete evidence of Epstein having fathered children has emerged despite numerous attempts by claimants seeking access to his estate. Additional messages in the document release suggest Sarah Ferguson had been unaware of Epstein becoming a father prior to receiving the information, with references indicating he had “disappeared" before news of the alleged child surfaced.

The disclosure adds yet another layer of intrigue to Epstein’s closely guarded private life, which has been the subject of intense scrutiny since his 2019 arrest on federal sex trafficking charges.

Epstein died by suicide in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial.

Over 100 individuals have previously come forward claiming to be Epstein’s offspring in attempts to claim portions of his substantial estate, though no such claims have been substantiated.
