US President Donald Trump has once again spoken about the May 2025 India-Pakistan conflict, repeating his earlier mediation claims during Operation Sindoor. His remarks quickly went viral, with many internet users reacting on social media.
What Trump said?
During his State of the Union address, Trump said he had ended eight wars in his first 10 months of his second term. He claimed that India and Pakistan would have had a nuclear war if he had not intervened.
Trump said he had saved Pakistan by stopping India’s Operation Sindoor.
“Pakistan and India would have had a nuclear war. 35 million people said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan would have died if it were not for my involvement," Trump said.
He also said the United States was working hard to end what he called the ninth war which is between Russia and Ukraine, adding that the conflict would not have happened if he had been in power in place of Joe Biden.
Trump further said that under a ceasefire he ensured that every single hostage, living or dead, was returned home.
