When it comes to commanding attention online, Donald Trump has rarely needed help. Yet in 2026, his social media presence has taken an unusually crazy turn, leaving the internet in shock with a string of increasingly bizarre and unfiltered posts- artificial intelligence visuals, dramatic warnings, and sharp personal attacks, often within the same week.

The latest controversy erupted over the weekend when Trump posted and later deleted, a striking AI-generated image showing him as a divine, Christ-like figure in flowing white and red robes, healing a sick man with glowing light coming from his hands.

The dramatic image featured American flags, bald eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and fighter jets in the background. Critics across the political spectrum, including many Christians, slammed the post as “blasphemous" and “deeply unsettling."

Critics questioned the symbolism, particularly among religious groups, while Trump later brushed it off as a creative representation of his leadership during crises.

Just days earlier, Trump posted an explosive, profanity-laced threat directed at Iran: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will." Ended with “God Bless the Great People of Iran!"

Posted during a period of heightened geopolitical tension, the statement left followers scrambling for context. Was it a warning, speculation, or simply rhetorical drama? The ambiguity only fuelled further debate, with many calling it irresponsible given the weight such words carry.

With the war hitting new levels of intensity, Trump has continued to lash out at allied countries that have refused calls for military help to secure freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. In a post on Truth Social, the US president took aim at countries, “like the United Kingdom", which have “refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran", telling them to either buy US fuel or get involved in the rapidly escalating war.

“You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us. Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil!" he said.

On Christmas Day 2025, while most Americans were enjoying a peaceful holiday with family, President Trump sent out a festive message that quickly raised eyebrows across the country. In his official Truth Social post, he wrote:“Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Left Scum that is doing everything possible to destroy our Country…"

The greeting, which mixed traditional holiday wishes with a sharp political attack, immediately went viral. Many viewed it as deeply inappropriate for a Christmas message, especially coming from the sitting President on a day traditionally associated with peace and goodwill. Critics called it “bitter" and “divisive," while some supporters praised it as classic Trump — unfiltered and unwilling to “pretend."

Last year, US President Donald Trump introduced a brand-new word to the political dictionary on Monday as he pushed back against growing criticism over his aggressive tariff policies. In a fiery Truth Social post, he urged Americans to stay calm and coined the term “PANICAN" — a new insult aimed at his critics.

“The United States has a chance to do something that should have been done DECADES AGO. Don’t be Weak! Don’t be Stupid! Don’t be a PANICAN (A new party based on Weak and Stupid people!). Be Strong, Courageous, and Patient, and GREATNESS will be the result!" Trump wrote.

The bizarre new term quickly went viral, with many calling it one of the strangest presidential neologisms in recent memory.
