Donald Trump’s latest attempt to attack the media came with an unusual prop: a bottle of milk.

During an Oval Office signing on Wednesday of a bill allowing school cafeterias to serve whole and 2% milk alongside fat-free and low-fat options, Trump pointed out a glass bottle of the white stuff on the table.

“We have some milk here. It’s been sitting here for five days so…,” he began, prompting laughter from those in attendance.

Milk can spoil in as little as two hours if left unrefrigerated. Consuming it can lead to vomiting and diarrhea.

“Remember the old days when we were kids, everybody shared a bottle?” Trump continued. “Today, we tend not to do that. But if you’d like to, if you trust the person that you drinking after, it’s right here. It’s yours. Semi-fresh. Five, six days old.”

The line milked yet more chuckles from those assembled.
