First LNG shipment exits Persian Gulf via Strait of Hormuz since US-Israel war against Iran began in March, fragile Washington Tehran ceasefire still holds

What Is LNG? LNG stands for Liquified Natural Gas (LNG). It plays a different role in India’s energy supply chain. LNG is a natural gas cooled to -162 degree C, turning it into liquid form. This reduces its volume drastically, making it easier to transport across long distances by ship. LNG is not usually consumed directly by households but it feeds the broader gas supply system.
As the fragile ceasefire between Washington and Tehran still holds for now, the first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) shipment has crossed the Strait of Hormuz to exit the Persian Gulf since the US-Israel launched a war against Iran in March.
