France to host Strait of Hormuz shipping meeting Friday, after UK France plan summit of 40 nations to restore freedom of navigation amid reduced post ceasefire traffic.

France on Tuesday announced that it will host Strait of Hormuz shipping meeting on Friday.
This came a day after UK and France announced that they will co-host a summit of 40 nations this week to restore “freedom of navigation".
The strait is one of the world’s most vital energy corridors, accounting for roughly 20% of global oil shipments before the conflict began. Although limited commercial traffic has resumed since the ceasefire, shipping activity remains far below normal levels.
