‘Hitting Iran Unapologetically’: US Releases Video Of ‘Laser-Focused’ Operation Epic Fury

United States and Israel carried out strikes against Iran, that targeted key government and military establishments.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) on Tuesday shared a video showing a precision strike against Iran under Operation Epic Fury, saying that the American forces are hitting Tehran “surgically, overwhelmingly, and unapologetically".

As per the visual, an aerial strike can be seen hitting a white truck, which officials described as part of a precision targeting mission.

“As the Secretary of War stated this morning, U.S. forces are hitting Iran surgically, overwhelmingly, and unapologetically. Operation Epic Fury is laser-focused on destroying Iranian offensive missiles," CENTCOM said in a post on X.

This comes days after the United States and Israel carried out strikes against Iran, that targeted key government and military establishments, including the office of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the Iranian President. The targeted strikes also killed Khamenei and his family, including his daughter and granddaughter, state media reported.

Tehran responded with a wave of missile attacks aimed at Gulf nations that host American military installations, including Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. Projectiles were also launched in the direction of United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

Earlier, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth echoed the message, saying, “We’re hitting them surgically, overwhelmingly and unapologetically."

Hegseth said the operation has a “decisive mission" to eliminate the threat of Iranian ballistic missiles, destroy Iran’s navy and ensure there were “no nukes."

“This is not a so-called regime-change war, but the regime sure did change, and the world is better off for it," he said, referring to developments following the killing of Khamenei.

Amid the widening conflict, the United States Department of State urged American citizens to leave more than a dozen Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Mora Namdar advised US nationals to depart using available commercial transport “due to safety risks" as military exchanges between the United States and Israel against Iran intensified.
