The Ahmedabad temperature on the India vs New Zealand T20 WC final day, March 8, will start around 23°C at 9 AM. It will gradually rise to 28°C at 10 AM, said AccuWeather.
From 11 AM to 1 PM, the temperature will rise sharply, remaining between 32°C and 36°C. According to AccuWeather, the mercury will continue to rise until 4 PM, reaching a peak of 41°C.
After 5 PM, the temperature will gradually fall from 40°C.
When the match starts at 7 PM, the temperature should be around 37°C with clear skies. Later in the night, the mercury is expected to drop further to around 33°C by 9-10 PM and 30°C by 11 PM.
The UV index during midday will remain very high, so conditions will feel quite harsh. Light-to-moderate winds from the west and northwest between 19–7 km/h are expected.

Defending champions India have been the most dominant side in the T20 world Cup 2026 at home. After winning all their group stage games, India hit a roadblock against South Africa in the Super 8. But the Men in Blue peaked at the right time, winning both their must-win encounters against Zimbabwe and West Indies to enter the semifinal.
In the last-four stage, the Suryakumar Yadav-led side held their nerve to eke out a nervy seven-run win over England to make their way into the final. On the other hand, New Zealand qualified for the Super 8 stage with three wins in four games. With their Super 8 clash against Pakistan washed out, New Zealand had to be dependent on the net run rate to enter the knockouts.
In the semifinal, New Zealand produced their best display, beating last edition's runners-up South Africa by nine wickets to make it to their second T20 World Cup final.
