Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Friday said a proposed agreement between Tehran and Washington is closer than ever to being finalized, while US President Donald Trump appeared to signal optimism by resharing Araghchi’s message on social media amid intense diplomatic negotiations.
“The Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding has never been closer," Araghchi wrote on X, urging media outlets to avoid speculation about the contents of the agreement until negotiations are completed.

“Pending its finalization, the media should refrain from entering speculation about its content. In line with our responsible and transparent approach, all details will be shared with the public in due course," he added.
