The Iran war has sharply escalated with direct US and Israeli strikes on Iran and retaliatory missile attacks across Israel and Gulf states. The conflict between Iran and Israel entered its 20th day on Thursday, with both sides intensifying military operations. The conflict was fueled after Iran’s South Pars gas field, one of the world’s largest, was attacked by Israeli forces.

In retaliation, Tehran struck Qatar and fired missiles ‌at Saudi Arabia after vowing attacks on oil and gas targets throughout the Gulf. Qatar’s state oil giant QatarEnergy reported “extensive damage” at the Ras Laffan Industrial City after an Iranian missile attack.
