Iran’s judiciary on Tuesday suspended a panel led by President Masoud Pezeshkian, just a day after it approved the restoration of internet access after months of near-total blackout since the war with the United States and Israel.

The decision, reported by the judiciary’s Mizan Online website, targeted the “Special Headquarters for Organising and Governing the Country’s Cyberspace", a body created on May 12 by Pezeshkian. The court said the suspension followed the “filing of complaints", though it did not say who had submitted them.

On Monday, Pezeshkian had ordered the restoration of international internet access in Iran.
