Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Friday confirmed he will visit Pakistan as part of a wider regional tour, as talks between Tehran and Washington remain stalled.

The visit comes amid deadlocked negotiations between the United States and Iran, with uncertainty continuing over whether Tehran will join further discussions aimed at ending the war, which is currently under a fragile ceasefire.

Islamabad has been preparing for a possible second round of talks between the two sides. However, it remains unclear whether Araghchi or his delegation will meet any US officials during the visit to discuss the ongoing Middle East war.

In a post on X, Araghchi said, “Embarking on timely tour of Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow. Purpose of my visits is to closely coordinate with our partners on bilateral matters and consult on regional developments. Our neighbors are our priority."
