Multiple drone attacks continued to rock United Arab Emirates' energy facilities on Tuesday. The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority recently announced temporary and full closure of the country's airspace. This comes as “an exceptional precautionary measure” as Iranian drones and missiles batter energy infrastructure around the Persian Gulf in the third week of war with the US and Israel.

- One of the most recent drone strike was reported at the Shah oil and gas field located near Abu Dhabi. Operations were suspended at the high-sulfur gas field amid rapidly evolving regional security developments, Dubai media office said. Abu Dhabi authorities said that there were no reported injuries in the drone attack at one of the world's largest natural gas field which is located 180 km southwest of Abu Dhabi.
- Dubai Media Office issued a clarification over loud sounds and in a post on X said, “Authorities in Dubai confirm that the sounds heard in various areas of the city are the result of successful interceptions.”
- On Saturday, Iran accused the US of using ports, docks and hideouts in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as it called for the evacuation of three major ports in the UAE before targeting neighbouring country’s non-US assets.
- On Monday, a massive fire broke out at Dubai International Airport (DXB) after an Iranian drone struck in the compound. Taking to X, Dubai Media Office said, "Civil Defense teams have confirmed that the fire in a fuel tank in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport has been extinguished. Cooling operations are now underway.
- UAE's defence ministry said that air defences are currently responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran. According to its latest press release, nearly 21 drones and 6 missiles were intercepted on Monday.
- Multiple flights had to take a U-turn on mid-air on Monday after the drone attack at Dubia Airport. Dubai airport authorities announced diversion of some flights to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) and suspended operations for some hours until finally resuming in the afternoon.
- Several airlines, including Emirates and Air India cancelled flights after the incident.
- Another fire incident following drone attack was reported at UAE’s Fujairah Oil Industries. This attack took place at a significant port that serves as the country’s only oil export route bypassing the Strait of Hormuz, Reuters reported.
- Since Dubai airport has imposed restrictions on operations by foreign carriers, Air India and Air India Express will operate 44 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia on Tuesday but its services remain suspended in Dubai.
- Flightrdar24 in a post on X said, “Following yesterday’s drone attack that struck a fuel tank next to Dubai International Airport (DXB), UAE authorities have limited operations at DXB and Dubai World Central (DWC) to UAE-based airlines until further notice.”
