As the war in West Asia continues to expand with both sides being relentless in attacking each other, the Israeli military on Tuesday issued a warning to Iranians, advising them to avoid train travel.

The latest direction by the Israeli military is viewed as a signal to a potential expansion of the conflict that has been going on for over five weeks. In a message posted in Farsi, Israel’s military warned that being on trains or near railway tracks could put lives at risk.

“For your safety, we ask you to refrain from using trains or travelling by train across the country until 9:00 pm Iran time," the statement said, adding that such movement could “endanger" civilians.

This comes as Donald Trump’s warning approaches. US has warned Iran that if it does not comply, particularly by reopening the Strait of Hormuz, the US military could target critical infrastructure, including power plants and bridges. The deadline is set to expire at 3:30 am Iranian time on Wednesday.

ISRAEL’S FRESH WAVE OF ATTACKS ON IRAN

Meanwhile, Israel launched a fresh wave of strikes on Iranian targets early Tuesday, followed by retaliatory missile fire from Iran aimed at Israel and several Gulf Arab states.

The escalation follows Iran’s rejection of a US-backed 45-day ceasefire proposal, with Tehran insisting on a permanent end to hostilities instead. The development comes as US President Donald Trump’s deadline for a deal draws closer, accompanied by an expanded threat of military action.

’14 MILLION READY TO SACRIFICE’

Meanwhile, Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday said more than 14 million citizens have expressed willingness to sacrifice their lives to defend the country as tensions escalate ahead of a US deadline on reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

“More than 14 million Iranian people have declared their readiness to sacrifice their lives… I too have been, am, and will remain ready to give my life for Iran," Pezeshkian said.
