President Donald Trump’s 8-year-old grandson, Luke, is keeping things very on-brand for his family this spooky season, according to his mother, Lara Trump.

On Wednesday’s episode of her “Right View with Lara Trump” podcast, the president’s daughter-in-law responded to a listener’s question about her family’s Halloween plans this year.

After revealing that she and her 6-year-old daughter, Carolina, were both going as Rumi from Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters,” Lara Trump said Luke had opted for something different and “very interesting,” albeit true to his family’s priorities.

“He decided like a month ago,” she recalled. “He’s like, ‘I know what I want to be for Halloween.’ I was like, ‘Great. Give me the order so I can get this done.’ He was like, ‘I’m going to be money.’”

“That’s right. Yeah. I mean, you think this is Donald Trump’s grandson?” she continued. “My son, Luke, is going to be money.”

Lara Trump, who is married to the president’s son Eric Trump, didn’t share many specifics of her son’s costume other than to note “it looks like a giant $100 bill.”

Their son’s costume choice isn’t particularly surprising given the family’s well-documented business dealings.

A Reuters report published earlier this week noted that Eric Trump and his brother, Donald Trump Jr., had helped boost the Trump Organization’s income this year to about $864 million ― up from $51 million in 2024 ― through multiple investments.

Lara Trump, meanwhile, has been focused on more, um, artistic pursuits. The aspiring vocalist has released a number of singles, including a widely panned cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down,” which she performed at her father-in-law’s Westchester, New York, golf club earlier this year.

Earlier this month, she made headlines by volunteering to perform at next year’s “All American Halftime Show,” which is being organized by Turning Point USA, the right-wing political group founded by slain activist Charlie Kirk.

The MAGA-themed show is intended as an alternative to the Super Bowl halftime show, which will be headlined by Latin superstar Bad Bunny. The NFL’s choice of Bad Bunny, who performs predominantly in Spanish and has criticized the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigrants, has angered many conservatives.

When asked about who she’d like to see perform at the “All American Halftime Show,” Lara Trump named country artists Chris Janson and Chris Stapleton before ultimately suggesting herself.

“Imagine how upset people on the left would be if something like that happened,” she said. “It sort of makes me wanna offer myself up. I have not been asked, but I’m gonna offer it right now! So let’s see what happens.”
