Meta is preparing to track the way employees use company computers, including keystrokes, mouse clicks and activity across internal apps, as part of a new effort to train its artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The company, which owns Facebook and Instagram, informed staff that the monitoring tool will collect workplace activity data to help improve future AI products.

Is Meta Preparing For More Job Cuts Because Of AI?

Meta has already cut around 2,000 jobs this year through smaller rounds of layoffs. However, employees reportedly expect deeper reductions in the months ahead.
