The US Justice Department on Friday published more than three million new files related to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a month after a law required them to release the entire files. US President Donald Trump’s name appears again, in one document, where there are several allegations about him from an FBI tip line, which investigators at the time deemed not credible.
The new files released by Deputy US Attorney General Todd Blanche include 180,000 images and 2,000 videos. Most of the documents are still heavily redacted as anything identifying victims, depicting child abuse or death have been removed. The faces of any women who appear in the files, other than Ghislaine Maxwell, have been blurred.
Blanche told Fox News that “in none of these communications, even when doing his best to disparage President Trump, did Epstein suggest President Trump had done anything criminal or had any inappropriate contact with any of his victims."
