Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a travel advisory urging its citizens to avoid non-essential travel to Iran due to mounting security concerns and widespread protests across the country.

The advisory, issued amid intensifying demonstrations and occasional clashes with security forces, highlights risks to personal safety and warns Pakistanis currently in Iran to exercise heightened caution and limit outdoor movement.

According to the government’s warning, travellers should postpone trips to Iran until conditions stabilise and maintain close contact with Pakistani diplomatic staff in Tehran, where a Crisis Management Unit has been established to provide assistance, including emergency contact support.

The advisory reflects broader international concern, with several countries like Germany, Canada and the UK also issuing travel warnings and urging their nationals to reconsider or avoid travel to Iran as protests and unrest spread across major cities.
