Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), which is set to form the government soon, is has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
The invitation is viewed as BNP chairman Tarique Rahman’s bid to engage constructively with India to strengthen the ties between the two nations.
The newly elected MPs are likely to take the oath by February 17, cabinet secretary Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid stated.
