Pakistan on Wednesday asked the Afghan Taliban if the TTP was “more important" to it than stopping the ongoing war between their two countries.

Pushed by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to pause their war during Eid.

Pakistan said it wants to hold talks with Afghanistan, but for that to happen, the ruling Taliban must give up the terrorists it is “hiding".

“Pakistan is ready to talk, but first hand over the terrorists to us. The Afghan Taliban have to decide whether the TTP (Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan) is more important to them or Pakistan. The regime is hiding terrorists, even in government buildings," said Pakistan’s DG ISPR.
