US President Donald Trump accused Democrats of being “soft on crime," claiming they prioritise protecting criminals over the safety of American citizens.
In a post on Truth Social on Monday, Trump said violent offenders were being shielded “at the expense of our great American citizens and patriots," adding that such an approach was “not what America is about, and never will be."
