Rajya Sabha member Sunetra Pawar is all set to be sworn in as Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister on Saturday. She will replace her husband and NCP chief Ajit Pawar, who died in a plane crash on Wednesday.
The 62-year-old leader will be elected as leader of the legislature wing of the NCP at a meeting in Mumbai on Saturday afternoon, and is all set to take oath as Maharashtra's first woman deputy chief Minister, news agency PTI reported.
What is Sunetra Pawar's net worth?
Sunetra Pawar disclosed her total income in the Income Tax Return filed for the financial year 2022-23 as ₹4,22,21,010, as per the affidavit she filed ahead of the Lok Sabha Election 2024.
She disclosed assets, including movable and immovable property, of over ₹127 crore and liabilities of ₹17 crore. As per the Lok Sabha Election 2024 affidavit, the total family wealth was as follows:
