Donald Trump Jr. ranted about migrants and “RINOs” after The Wall Street Journal defended refugees in an opinion piece published Friday.

“Give me a fucking break,” the executive vice president of the Trump Organization wrote in an X repost of the article.

Lashing out at RINOs, shorthand for those he considers “Republican in name only,” Trump added, “The RINOs at the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board want us to be flooded with millions of America hating migrants who don’t share our values.”

“This is a good reminder that it’s not just Democrats responsible for this - It’s the globalist RINOs too,” the president’s eldest son continued.

Give me a fucking break.

The RINOs at the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board want us to be flooded with millions of America hating migrants who don't share our values.

In its Friday edition, The Wall Street Journal argued that immigrants should not face “collective punishment” because an Afghan refugee shot two National Guard members near the White House on Wednesday. One died of their injuries, while the other remains in critical condition.

The suspected shooter, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, was reportedly part of a CIA-backed Afghan “partner force” in Kandahar province and was granted refugee status in the U.S. after the Taliban retook power in 2021. Officials say they are investigating the ambush in Washington as a terror attack. Lakanwal’s exact motives remain unclear.

In its opinion piece, the Journal argued that Afghan immigrants “shouldn’t be blamed for the violent act of one man” and that targeting them won’t “make America safer and it might embitter more against the United States.”

But President Donald Trump cited the shooting as further reason to double down on his mass deportation agenda, while the White House said it would be pausing immigration applications from Afghanistan as well.

Giving himself latitude for retaliation against an even wider swath of immigrants, the president also proposed permanently pausing migration from “all Third World Countries” in a post on Truth Social late Thursday night.
