US President Donald Trump, following a call with Pakistan Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, is likely to announce the removal of the blockade on the key energy transit route, sources told CNN-News18.
Pakistan’s key mediator, Munir, had told the US President that the blockade was an obstacle to talks. It was reported that Trump had replied that he would consider the advice.
