US-Israel-Iran War News Live: As West Asia conflict intensifies, explosions struck Damascus and its outskirts on Saturday, with Syrian state media reporting multiple blasts across the capital as cross-border attacks linked to the Iran–US conflict escalated.
Meanwhile, Iran claimed it downed a US A-10 aircraft—its second such strike—while Bahrain said four civilians were injured and homes damaged in Sitra by debris from intercepted Iranian drones. Hezbollah reported missile attacks on Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, targeting Ainata, Maroun al-Ras and al-Malikiyah, as Israel intercepted fresh launches from Tehran.
Further, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian accused the United States of “terrorism” after an assassination attempt killed the wife of a senior policy official. Tehran rejected a US ceasefire proposal and intensified attacks following a strike on a US depot on Bubiyan Island.
