US-Israel-Iran War News Live Updates Today: US President Donald Trump has said he will make a “final determination” on a potential agreement with Iran aimed at reducing tensions and preventing further escalation in the region. However, indications from both Washington and Tehran suggest that negotiations remain unresolved.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said that while “the exchange of messages is continuing,” a final understanding between the two sides has not yet been reached.

Speaking on the negotiations, Iran’s top negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stressed that Tehran would evaluate any deal based on tangible actions. “Only actions are the measure,” Ghalibaf said, adding that Iran would not take steps before seeing corresponding action from the United States.

According to The New York Times, President Trump convened a roughly two-hour meeting in the White House Situation Room to discuss the latest developments regarding Iran. The report said the meeting concluded without a final decision on a new agreement with Tehran.

Meanwhile, an Iranian official told Al Jazeera that US negotiators have repeatedly shifted their demands during discussions. The official alleged that American negotiators “change demands constantly,” arguing that this has complicated efforts to reach a mutually acceptable framework.

Israeli Air Strikes Kill 11 in Southern Lebanon

Amid fragile diplomatic talks, Israeli air strikes targeted the southern Lebanese towns of Maaroub, al-Abassiyah and Tayr Debba in the Tyre district. According to a report by Al Jazeera, 11 people were killed, including a paramedic, while eight others were wounded in the attacks.

There was no immediate official comment regarding the reported casualties.

The Pentagon indicated that the outcome of ongoing security discussions could influence the direction of political negotiations between Lebanon and Israel expected next week.
