Former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, who served under US President George H.W. Bush, said that the US government secretly spent $21 trillion between 1998 and 2015 to construct approximately 170 underground and undersea bunkers.
Speaking on Tucker Carlson’s podcast, Catherine Austin Fitts alleged that these extensive facilities are designed to provide shelter for elites during catastrophic events. She further claimed they are interconnected by a hidden transit system, powered by undisclosed energy technologies.
US’ Secret Space Program?
Catherine Austin Fitts said her assertions are based on a 2017 report by economist Mark Skidmore, which identified unexplained federal spending, particularly within the Departments of Defense and HUD. Beyond providing elite shelter, Catherine Austin Fitts also suggested these bunkers support covert operations, including what she termed a “secret space program."
Missing Funds Point To Bunker Program, Former US Official Says
According to a report by The New York Post, Catherine Austin Fitts detailed her methodology, explaining that after two years of examining records related to documented underground military bases, she also investigated “allegations" of a broader bunker network. By comparing her research with the alleged missing funds, Catherine Austin Fitts said she was able to “guess" the number of facilities, claiming the figure of 170 applies only to bases on US soil and around its coastline, with more alleged to exist worldwide.
She reiterated her claim about an elaborate transportation system connecting these bases, powered by a secret military-exclusive energy system.
“I’m convinced that this energy exists. If you look at a lot of the really fast ships, flying around the planet, they’re not using classical electricity," Catherine Austin Fitts said, referencing recent reports of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).
