Jeffrey Leeds claims Elizabeth had a long-term affair with Miami businessman Alberto Alejandro Tawil, which he says resulted in a pregnancy.

Jeffrey Leeds, a New York private equity executive and associate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has accused his wife, Elizabeth Leeds, of a long-term affair and misusing his wealth amid their $100 million divorce.

The high-profile divorce spans three states and has brought allegations of infidelity, lavish spending, and extravagant gifts into public view.

According to court filings, Jeffrey Leeds claims his wife Elizabeth, 26 years his junior, had a long-term affair with Miami businessman Alberto Alejandro Tawil, which he says led to a pregnancy.

Emails included in the Palm Beach County court documents show Leeds referring to Tawil as a “loser grifter real estate mogul" and chastising his wife for sneaking out to meet him. In one email from February 2025, he wrote, “You sneaked out the day I left to f–k that idiot loser."

The couple’s assets are substantial. Properties involved in the divorce include a $22 million Manhattan apartment at 740 Park Avenue, a $23.5 million Southampton estate, and a $35.6 million Palm Beach home. Leeds also alleges his wife used marital funds to invest $275,000 in Tawil’s business ventures in Mozambique, pay the salaries of 21 household staff, and purchase erotic gifts.

In emails to Elizabeth, he wrote, “Just leave us alone and come visit every now and then. You’re a part time-mother anyway," referring to their two children.

Leeds, whose name appeared multiple times in the newly released Epstein documents, has praised Epstein in past interviews, calling him “a talented money manager and an extremely hardworking person with broad interests." There are no allegations of misconduct against Leeds in relation to Epstein.

Elizabeth Leeds, in her court filings, accused her husband of engaging in financial warfare, targeting her friends, including Tawil and New York jeweller Anne Baker. She also alleged that Leeds “stalked" her at a school event for their children and publicly shamed her.
