Iran on Monday rejected a US-backed ceasefire proposal amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia and instead presented its own 10-point plan to end the war, according to the Iranian state news agency IRNA.
The proposal outlines Tehran’s conditions for a long-term resolution, including a guarantee against future attacks, a permanent end to hostilities rather than a temporary ceasefire, and a halt to Israeli strikes in Lebanon.
It also calls for the lifting of all US sanctions on Iran and an end to regional military action against Iranian allies.
