Iran US War Ceasefire News Latest Updates Today: A high-level Iranian delegation, including Tehran’s top negotiator and central bank chief, was in Doha to discuss an agreement with the US and the release of frozen funds.
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Doha for talks on ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the conflict.
This marked the first senior Iranian visit to the region since the start of the Middle East war, which saw Tehran launch thousands of drones and missiles across the Gulf — including at Qatar.
According to Al Jazeera, citing an informed source, Washington and Tehran have reached an understanding — mediated by Qatar — regarding Iran’s frozen overseas assets.

US President Donald Trump said the enriched uranium — which he described as “Nuclear Dust!” — would either be immediately handed over to the United States to be transported and destroyed, or dismantled under international supervision in coordination with Iran.
“The Enriched Uranium (Nuclear Dust!) will either be immediately turned over to the United States to be brought home and destroyed or, preferably, in conjunction and coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran, destroyed in place or, at another acceptable location, with the Atomic Energy Commission, or its equivalent, being witness to this process and event.
