Vice President JD Vance on Tuesday said while there may be delay in Iran’s response during negotiations to end the war, the United States can “feel confident" of a response whether positive or negative.

Vance said the delay was caused due to “transmitting of messages from one person to another", but the US has largely achieved its military objectives in the West Asia conflict.

“We recognise there’s some delay sometimes in transmitting messages from one person to another, but we feel confident that we can get a response, whether it’s positive or negative," Vance said during a press conference in Hungary’s Budapest.
