Voice is rapidly becoming a primary interface for AI. The global voice-assistant market is projected to surpass $30 billion by 2030. Enterprise adoption is accelerating. Gartner predicts that by 2028 conversational assistants will resolve 70% of customer-service journeys, handling tasks such as triage, routing and issue resolution. By 2029 AI systems are expected to go further, autonomously conducting up to 80% of common customer-service conversations. Meanwhile, OpenAI, Google, Hume AI, and others have launched real-time voice offerings, making large-scale deployment turnkey.
